ThomasMax is about getting you published.  But so are a lot of other print-on-demand publishing companies.  What differentiates them from us?  They want your money!  They don't really care about your success.

We care, because we're writers ourselves.  We know how it feels to walk in your shoes.  And unless you succeed, we don't succeed.  You see, our success is tied to yours . . . only your success insures ours!

We offer professional editing services, and we encourage (and often insist) every writer to have his/her work edited by a pro.  Even the biggest names in the book world have their works edited.  And if you are going to be published, you want your work be done right!  Do you know, for example, what shifting point-of-view means?  Do you know if it's good or bad?  How about flashbacks?  Do you know how to use them and how not to use them?  Our pros know these things . . . and a whole lot more.

We offer professional graphics design to help your cover draw readers.  Hey, it's NOT true that people don't judge a book by its cover.  They do!  We can help!  Look at our "books in print" and you'll see that our covers are designed to attract the eyes of book buyers.  Of course, if you have an idea about what you'd like to see on the cover of your work, we're all ears, too.  It's your work, and we never forget that.

We offer help for you to price your work in a way that you can make a fair royalty and still be able to sell your book in the real world marketplace.  Now if you have some idea about getting rich quick on high royalties, maybe you should try another publisher.  If you want real talk from real people who know something about pricing books, talk to us!

We want to help your career as a writer.  If you're not already a member of a professional organization or you've not gone to writers' conferences to network with other writers, we'll try to put you in touch with the right resources.

You could be in print in a matter of weeks, not years!  We don't have a production schedule that we have to fill months in advance like the big publishing houses . . . nor do we spend months letting low-cost editors argue with the authors.  At ThomasMax, we never forget that the success of our writers is the only thing that insures the success of our publishing company!

But don't just take our word for it . . . here's what some of our authors have to say:

“ThomasMax Publishing did an awesome job publishing my book, Survival Guides.  Not only did the finished product look fantastic, but Lee Clevenger went out of his way to assist this fledging writer with both editing and style suggestions.  At one point I was so discouraged with the progress of my book that if it had not been for Lee's encouragement I would have given up.  I can recommend ThomasMax without reservation.” – Dr. Timothy L. Hudson, Director, UGA Christian Campus Fellowship, Author, Survival Guides

“I would like to say that neither I nor the people that have purchased (my) book that ThomasMax published for me, have had any criticism of the quality of the book. I have reordered several times, and have been surprised how promptly I received my order, and how well the books were packed. I have found this publisher to have dealt fairly with me. There have been no hidden surcharges or billings. I would not hesitate to publish another book, in the future with Thomas Max Publishers.” – Paul Dunn, Author, A Stroll Through Fitzgerald, Ga,. in the Forties

“ThomasMax Publishing is a highly ethical and talented approach for new and self published authors. Lee Clevenger both educates and enlightens his clients in the vicissitudes of a writer's life. His gentle guidance is backed by a great depth of knowledge and is, first and foremost, honest and fair.” – Richard René Silvin, Author, I Survived Swiss Boarding Schools and Walking The Rainbow

“ThomasMax Publishing published two of my novels: Chasing Pirates and The Counterfeit War. I was very pleased with both products and would not hesitate to use their services again.” – Harry Rubin, Colonel, U.S. Army, retired, author Chasing Pirates and The Counterfeit War.
